Yoga Class Farts - Prevention & Etiquette

The average person farts 14 times a day. The average yogi? Maybe a little more than that.

We’re all been there, and if it wasn’t YOU (liars) it’s definitely happened to someone you know. Yoga farts are nothing to be embarrassed about: the poses literally twist your body & propel trapped gas outwards. Still, if you’d prefer to keep your bodily gases to yourself, here are some great tips on how to flatten your flatulence and how to handle a fart situation while in class.

You will need…

  • Preemptive farts
  • Poker face
  • Cough, sneeze, or exhale
  • Scapegoat
  • Wind-relieving pose
  • Class with dogs (optional)
