It’s me! Haha yeahhh right. I went mountain biking with my friend Brenden this morning on the trails in Tanglewood and let me tell you, it was INTENSE. First of all, the bike I was riding was a p.o.s. You know, the cheap $50 kind of bike that you get at Target or whatever. And Brenden of course has a legit mountain bike, so I was bringing up the rear. There were roots and rocks and other hazards everywhere which I’m surprised I managed to avoid. Regardless, It was a lot of fun. I got mud all over me and nearly crashed several times, but all in the name of adventure and exercise! When we finished we went and chilled in the Yadkin River to cool off. I’d never been in the Yadkin before so that a new experience for me. The temperature of the water was perfect. There were a crap ton of massive rocks at the access area though, so they kind of hurt my feet. And the current seemed really fast in the middle of the river so I stayed on the bank. However, next week I’m going on a 16 mile kayak expedition on the river, so that will be a jolly good time as well!
Yay for adventures!
