Colorado Day 4
Today was great! I went for a run in the morning and then we had a nice (free) breakfast at our lodge. Eating out all the time is expensive! No wonder we never eat out when we’re at home.
Next we drove 6 miles to El Dorado Canyon State Park and hiked 2 trails. It was awesome! I love hiking!! The view was gorgeous and we climbed on rocks and my mom was freaking out the whole time...
Colorado Day 3
Today was an all-day white water rafting adventure! It was sooo epic! We had to leave early to get there because it was 2.5 hours away and we had to be there by 9:30am but it was sooo worth it.
First off we get there and get the talk about safety and what to do if we fall out of the raft, how to slip our foot into the pockets in the bottom of the raft to give more stablility on the raft, and...
Colorado Day 2
Today was awesome and I am sooo tired!! First off, I went for a long run - close to an hour and ran into downtown Boulder. IT is soo freaking amazing here! There is a whole infrastructure just for walkers, runners, and bikers!! I really think it would be epic to live here!!

Colorado - 1st Day
Ok. So today we left for the airport at 7:30 got there at around 9am and left at around 11. Went to Dallas Texas to change planes and took a plane from there to Denver, CO. We got a rental car and drove to our lodge place. It’s pretty scenic here. And so begins the saga of a young girl traveling with her sister and parents to the untamed, uninhabited hinterland that is Colorado.

So today, July 20, 2010 is the Last Day of Classes for Summer Session II at UNC. As Summer school is winding down, I feeling more and more like I don’t want to leave. I have made such good friends in these 10 weeks and the time here seems to have flown by.

So over the course of my living in Chapel Hill, I have spent much time in Carrboro and it seems that there have been many instances of wierdness.
For instance, today I was in Carrboro going to my internship and on the way back, a van passed by that had the side window open and in the window was a cardboard cutout of a Jackie Chan-like fellow. Wtf?

So today on the way to my TABLE internship, i stopped at Fleet Feet Sports to get a Trigger Point Foam Roller and some ear plugs and a nose pincher thing for swimming (now maybe I can do a flip turn w/o getting water up my nose).
